The
primary sources of funding for the Center for Rhizosphere Biology
are the National Science Foundation, the United States Department
of Agriculture, and the Department of Defense. While these funds
make possible many of the important research projects currently
underway at the Center, they are typically awarded to more conservative
projects, whose value is already known. In order to undertake risky
cutting-edge research, other sources of funding are necessary. It
is here that the general public can have a profound impact on the
discoveries that will fuel our economy in the next century, by helping
provide “start-up” funds for promising projects in their
earliest stages.
The
Center for Rhizosphere Biology is a nonprofit organization, and
all donations are tax-deductible. We accept donations in the form
of cash, checks, or money orders. You can contact us about donating
to the Center for Rhizosphere Biology using the address at the bottom
of the page, or by emailing Jorge Vivanco. Make checks payable to
the Colorado State University Foundation, c/o Center for Rhizosphere
Biology.
